In early 1997, three attorneys working at an established law firm in suburban Maryland decided to make a bold move. They took a chance and left the security of their old job behind them to start not only a new law practice, but a new kind of practice. One that did not put billable hours first, but, instead, chose to put their clients first and hopefully earn the respect not only of those in the legal community, but also of those whom they chose to serve - a novel idea. With these humble beginnings, Jon D. Pels, Lawrence J. Anderson and Bobby Y. Lee formed the law firm of Pels, Anderson & Lee, L.L.C. The three members of this law firm offer their experience in real estate, bankruptcy, personal injury and corporate law to a wide range of companies, large and small, and a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
